On December, 21st, the United Nations Security Council tried to vote a Resolution to solve the conflict in Yemen.
UN Security council on Yemen, December, 21, 2018,

The Security Council says that all parties implicated in the war must respect civilians and fix the humanitarian crisis in this country. But the USA proposed another text than this of the Council.
We all know the relationships between the USA and Saudi Arabia:it is a strong support.

Despite the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, Trump will not recognize the responsibility for Saudi Arabia for this crime, and for many human rights violations.

In these human rights violations, we must recall the imprisonment of Raif Badawi, since now more than five years and the prosecutions of the Saudi Activists.#Free Raif.

The responsibility for King Ben Salman for the murder of Jamal Khashogggi has been established by the CIA:

President Trump has not to deny it in the peace process in Yemen, save if for him oil matters more than human rights and truth.
On the ground, US troops participate to the war, and support Saudi ones; the truce of the United Nations would be between tribes, because the Yemeni War is also a civil war between the Houthis and other tribes.
But President Trump does not recognize this truce, for he denies documents produced by the CIA itself about the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi.Even the State Department has condemned this murder:

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (L) meets with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh, on October 16, 2018. – Pompeo held talks with Saudi King Salman seeking answers about the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, amid US media reports the kingdom may be mulling an admission he died during a botched interrogation. His support to King Salman is absolute despite this murder, the imprisonment of Raif Badawi, and, in Yemen, the starvation of civilians and the epidemics of cholera. For Trump, who does not trust the CIA, oil is more important than human rights.
